Earthquake
Coverage
Earthquake or earth movement is not covered by our basic homeowners
policy. However, we have coverage available that can protect you in
the event of a disaster.
Flood Coverage
While not included in the basic homeowners policy, a flood insurance
policy can be purchased through the 21st Century Homeowners Insurance Program
to protect your property against all types of flood losses.
Scheduled
Personal Property
If you have collectibles or high-valued items, such as an expensive
musical instrument, camera, jewelry, or even golf clubs, it
is a good idea to schedule those items separately to cover their
fair market value up to the scheduled limit. If those items are
not scheduled, reimbursement for their loss may be subject to the
limitations specified in your customer's policy. Scheduled Personal
Property limits vary by the type of property insured.
Replacement
Cost Coverage
This coverage can be added to your homeowners policy to cover your
dwelling and/or personal belongings. For your home, coverage
is available to provide up to 120% of the insured limit for repair
or replacement in the event they suffer a loss. For your
personal belongings, replacement coverage provides new items of
like kind and quality -- not depreciated due to their age -- to
help you recover from a loss.
Special Computer
Coverage
Broaden the coverage on your computer and give yourself the
peace of mind that comes with knowing that you are insured
properly against most types of losses which affect the use of their
computer. Special Computer Coverage goes beyond the basic homeowners
policy to make sure you are protected against many types of losses
in addition to those the basic homeowners policy covers.
These coverage options are generally
available; however, there may be differences in specific coverages
or limits by state. The precise coverage afforded by the 21st Century Homeowners Insurance Program is subject to the terms and
conditions of the 21st Century Homeowners Insurance Program policies
as issued. These coverage summaries are provided for your convenience
only and are not intended to replace or supercede the policy terms
and conditions. Whether and to what extent a particular loss is
covered depends on the facts and circumstances of the loss and the
terms and conditions of the policy as issued.
Watercraft and/or
Snowmobile Liability
The basic homeowners policy includes very limited coverage for liability
in the operation of watercraft and/or snowmobiles. If you own
a watercraft or snowmobile, they can easily protect against
these risks.
Personal Injury Liability
Your personal liability coverage can be extended to provide protection
against liability for damages such as libel, slander, and invasion
of privacy.
Condominium
Unit-Owners' Coverages
Additional coverages are available to meet the particular needs
of condo owners, such as broader coverage against more types of
loss for your personal property, protection for certain personal
property if your unit is held for rental, and increased limits
for loss assessment by your condo association.
Increased Limits
The coverage limits for many homeowner's policy options can be increased
to accommodate special circumstances. Among these are: private structures,
personal property (including specific limits for certain types of
property such as silverware, business property, and other types),
loss of use, liability and medical payments, etc. Just ask your
21st Century Agency home insurance expert for details.
